Election Night

Ohio and Pennsylvania have gone to Obama. It does not look good for McCain.

It most definitely does not. It seems as if Obama has this under his belt. It will be interesting to see how our country will change after this. But, like you said, we control the turn out of our own lives. I'm sure many people here in Calabasas, California are happy with the results. I can't exactly say the same for my family though. Congrats to the Democrats...

Jessica,

I hope most people feel like you. What is important is that we all work together and do what is best for the country. Lets hope President Elect Obama can bring the country together.

Can we please stop for a moment to reflect on the fact that our United States president is now an American man named Barack Hussein Obama.
A descendent of African Americans who had NO RIGHTS let alone the right to vote. I am proud! I am proud to live in a counrty where a person is able to rise up to this with dedication.
I am overjoyed that the hockeymom from "aluhskuh" is out of the picture... for now, sorry Goldman, I know you're sick of my opinionated hatred of Palin... but this is a blog so here it is haha!
I am so excited that there will be change for America and hopefully some new SNL skits.

I believe that Barack Obama is the epitome of progress. He has achieved so much and hopefully he can make our country as cool as him. He has broken down barriers to get to where he is, and he has proven that change can happen.

With barack obama elected to be president, I have never been prouder to be an american. Not because I believe in all his ideals, because that we the people elected a minority to the presidency. That is the perfect word for barack obama, a man of the people he bonded so many different groups of people togheter into one. I'am so happy that Sarah Palin is nowhere near the district of columbi, I hope she goes back to the farthest place away from washington, alaska, where she can go shoot some more bears from her airplane. I hope barack can set this wonderful country back on course and show the world why I'am truly proud to be an american.

Sincerely,

Matt Rosenthal
